We are looking for a highly motivated, Senior SW Engineer interested in helping develop new embedded software applications for Scientific Atlanta, Motorola and IP set-top boxes as well as client-server interface applications. The Sr. SW Engineer will also work on end to end development, from assisting in requirements definition to design, coding and unit test.

Qualifications •    BSCS or equivalent       •    Minimum 5 years experience as a SW Engineer developing on embedded environments       •    Sr. level experience with C/C++       •   Experience with each phase of the software development life cycle       •   Ability to communicate clearly both oral and written form

Knowledge of •    MPEG-2 standard       •    Set-top box environments (Scientific Atlanta, Motorola and IPTV) and headend system is a plus       •    Motorola GIOS, Scientific Atlanta PowerTV or IPTV embedded OS (i.e. Linux) environments       •    Client/server protocols       •    MS Visual Studio environment
