The ActiveMedia Group, a business unit of ActiveVideo Networks Inc., houses a talented creative team that is working with brand–name programming partners to create ActiveVideo™ Channels — the next generation of television viewing. In addition to custom-built programming, AMG also provides off-the-shelf solutions, such as the ActiveVideo P:Mosaic, that are easily updated with the programmer's branding.  This position is located in San Jose, CA.

The QA and Process Lead will work on product and divisional initiatives within the ActiveMedia Group User Experience/QA team. The QA & Process Lead is responsible for defining, implementing and enforcing quality assurance best practices and processes.

1. Develop, publish and implement test plans.
2. Write and maintain test automation scripts.
3. Define, integrate and oversee processes in software development life cycle.
4. Integrate knowledge management systems as needed.
5. Integrate defect tracking systems as needed.
6. Define and track quality assurance metrics, including open defect counts and time-to-fix.
7. Define, select and integrate defect tracking systems as needed.
8. Communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
9. Provide proactive guidance to developers in defect resolution.

This role will extend the quality model to the full software development life cycle, ensuring involvement in all stages.

Qualifications •    BS degree in Engineering or Computer Science       •    3-5 years hands-on experience in QA environment       •    Experience coding in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, XML       •   Familiar with Web services and technologies       •   Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance and defect tracking methodologies
